Fishing

Both fishing and ice fishing on Lake George are popular due to the unique ecosystem created by the lake’s depths; both fish that live in warmer and colder temperatures can be found in Lake George. And our area is peppered with thousands of ponds and streams that support several species of trout, bass, and other sport fish. The ice fishing season runs from November 15 to April 30.
